Oglala Lakota College (OLC) in South Dakota (Pine Ridge Rez, on & off) currently has 3 Full Time teaching job openings in the Humanities & Social Sciences dept for: 2 general core ENG College Writing I & II; and 1 for Social Sciences. Check out the quick description at higheredjobs.com

Also, if we land this grant we just submitted, we MIGHT have 3 MORE Full Time Jobs in our HUM/SOC SCI dept (in talks with exactly what kind of positions, such as more creative upper division, etc.). These 3 possible positions would be NEH endowed.

OLC is a tribal college & member of AIHEC (the American Indian Higher Ed. Consortium). Currently, OLC does not have a 'publish or perish' syndrome, & committees have been formed to steer Full-Time teaching positions toward tenure system. Full-Time teaching appointments at this time are for 9-10 month contracts (with fringe).
